I met a man about 1 month ago. He is one of the smartest men I have ever met. He is professional (accounter) and he is single. I am not going to explain the way i met him but the short story is that it wasn't intentional at all (we didn't mean to meet each other). At the beggining, he didn't seem to be very motivated to talk to me, but then, when he saw me, he changed his attitute. I am pretty sure , he was attracted to me Physically. Besides the fact that I know he knows I am smart, I guess that's all I have to impress him together with my physical appareance (not to much to impress an intelectual and smart man). I am feeling very insecure every time we talk, because He has a wide of knowledge of almost any thing. I know pretty much nothing. I only have my 12 grade. He keep telling me he feel very comfortable talking to me and that he likes my ways. I feel very inferior when we talk to the point that it's affecting my self esteem. My question is below

Could it be possible that an intelectual man like him, woulld like to have something serious with a person like me , without being subject to feel atttracted to a very intelectual woman, later in the future ??
Is it worth to try with him?
How can I control my insecurity in front of him?
Specially when he talks about things I have no knowledge about whatsoever...

Please help me,,, give me some ideas, points of views

Go for it ... you are both consenting adults.

His vast array of knowledge needn't make you feel inferior. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. A good union will balance this.

There is no harm in letting him take you out to dinner. Spending time together should make you feel comfortable w/ him.

If after a few dates you are still not comfortable, listen to your instincts and move on.

Not all men are the same so I cant tell you whether the one you got likes woman intellectually superior or inferior than him. That being said there are many other ways you can create or add to the attraction. You said he is already physically attracted to you which is the main thing for a woman to start with ( if a guy is not attracted to you physically it is over, you can't use your other resources as a woman but he still might sex you if that is all you want in your case not.) now to intensify the attraction you can use your personality which is a very vast subject or you can use your success if you are successfully or your fame if you are famous. I suggest you work on your personality like being loyal , funny , not being insecure(confident), loving, prompt and so on good luck girl.

I disagree with the other guys, kinda.

1. Yes, the initial attraction is physical. If that is all there is to it, then you'll know after about 10 weeks of the relationship (you're in week #4). I'm sure that you are very pretty, and men are complete suckers for foreign accents.

2. If you wrote this when you're LEARNING English, then you might in fact be very smart. There is a world of difference between not being SMART, and not being EDUCATED. Some of the smartest people in the world didn't get a great education, and some of our most educated did some pretty stupid things. So, he might be right -- he might find you to be very smart.

I wish you the best. Email or YIM me if you have any questions.

menlike to talk to make themselves feel smart! you are the perfect mate because you smile and absorb it. He doesn't want an equal. if he sees you as an intellectual equal your history and he find another. please note all powerful men with dumb and gorgeous women.

The only intellectual interest he has in you is screwing your brains out.
