Parothead's list is the best I've seen among the answers so far. It's hard to name my "favourite" since I "grew up with" the Beatles, meaning that I was approximately 10 years old when they first starred in America on the Ed Sullivan show, and I could not fathom the breakup of the Beatles. They were the most overwhelming musical "movement" America had ever seen, and even now I just see all the newbies as copycats of one way, one degree or another, like evolution's latest offering of supposedly better stuff. "Roll Over Beethoven" was a fantastic song as well as the ones Parothead listed, and so many more they did that at my age I can't remember without finding the CD's my wife bought me 10 years ago, and that'd be too much trouble. That was truly an era, and the passing of it has a sadness to it for me. But your question brought about great memories, so, Thank You. God Bless you.

A Day in the Life from the Sgt Pepper album.
**And for the two people who have said Imagine, that's not a Beatles song! It was written and recorded by John Lennon after the Beatles broke up.

The last three interconnected songs on Abbey Road, "Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End". A work of genius.
Sorry, but "Rocky Raccoon" is the best Beatles song ever? Huh??? That's goofy kids album singalong crapola, and annoying to the core.
