medium-dark gray women's suit with pencil thin tan and blue stripes...I have a red shirt (not bright)...will the red work with the suit?? Tommorrow is going to be too hot to wear a sweater that is the tan color...

I thought the south had crazy weather...the west coast is worse...it was cold 3 days ago...yesteray I was about to melt in a long sleeve t-shirt...

I would say yes. Red and gray are always good together, and even though the tan and blue are pinstripes, neither color would clash with the red, so I say go for it.

Where in the world are you that it will be hot tomorrow? I'm in the U. S. Midwest and it's c-c-c-cold!!!!

Sounds great to me. If you have some other red accessories like a handbag, or headband, or even sport some red heels with it, that would pull it all together nicely.

I would say check the red against the blue color, sometimes depending on the hues, blue and red can clash.

if the strips are not not thick then yes because red compliments not only the grey color but the red and the tan,

Only if the stripes are really thin, if so it'll be really cute, if not, it'll be a disaster...
