I'm working at a Christmas tree lot this year, and the following trees are in Canadian Prices. Subtract about 10-15 % for American prices:

Douglas fir:
3-5 ft = 15.00
5-7 ft = 20.00
7-9 ft = 25.00

Balsam:
4-6 ft = 40.00
6-7 ft = 48.00
7-8 ft = 55.00

White Pine:
4-6 ft = 35.00
6-8 ft = 43.00
8-10 ft = 50.00

Frazier Fir:
4-6 ft = 55.00
6-7 ft = 65.00
7-8 ft = 75.00

Caanan Fir:
6-8 ft = 65.00
8-10 ft = 80.00

We don't carry scotch pine, because the needles fall off before you even get em home:) But they're cheap...20.00, something like that.

Average Cost Of Christmas Tree

It depends. Lots of places can charge you up to 60 bucks a tree. If you look a little harder you can find cheaper places. I go to a place in connecticut that will charge 5 dollars a foot until 7 feet where anything 7 and higher is $35.

Where I live, an average tree is about 30-50 dollars. If you wait until Christmas Eve...the price usually drops!

Between 30 & 50 bucks for a real tree, but it all depends on the height, kind of tree, lenght of the needle (usually the longer the needle the more expensive). Now fake trees can be anyware from 25 to 200 bucks.

Real or Fake? You can find a real scotch pine for around 35 bucks. You can find a fake tree for about the same price but it would be crappy. They can get as expensive as 200. But you can get a pretty good real tree for $35 at least where I live you can.

They seem to be running about 10 or 11 per foot. We bought an 8 footer the other night and that was just under $90.
