Are Liberal Feminist women ruining this country's values?

Abortions and having babies on purpose without being married.
That seems like the only 2 options in a liberal feminists life other than being gay like me HELLBENT.

yes. i despise feminists that sleep around and act like drunken prom dates at 40 and still want to be called a lady.

I understand wanting to be equal, but face it we didn't evolve or were created to be equal... men were designed to be stronger physically to provide food and protection, women were designed to have children. why is that so wrong to feminist? why does equality mean 'i dont need a man' (or in your case a butch female).

i mean no offense on the butch female thing, my last girl would kill me if she read that.

Liberal Feminists are no more ruining this country than the Conservative Evangelists. Both factions, and all those in between, have positive traits and negative traits.

In literature, particularly Shakespeare, a person that has too much of a good quality is said to have a "tragic" flaw because their goodness turns to wrong.

Liberal Feminists play an important role in the overall mix of America's values. They are the flag wavers of TOTAL freedom for women especially as it relates to their bodies. This is a "tragic" flaw. I'm sure you would agree however, regardless of your sexual orientation, that the Federal Government should NOT be allowed to regulate what goes on in your womb or any other part of a person's body.

Your serious concern is borne out of what the Press publicizes most about Feminists. You are an unsuspecting victim of the Press trying assert its views over you.

Liberal Feminists also campaign for equal opportunities, equal pay, and equal education. These are the good things they stand for in America.

A true feminist is a person who believes in equal rights for men and women. This does NOT mean a person who believes in "better" rights for women as oppsoed to me--people who believe women are better than men are just as bad as people who believe men are better than women.

The other issues you mentioned are, IMHO, two issues which are totally seperate--People who aren't "feminists" also have abortions and have children when unmarried, and people who are "feminists" can go through their whole lives and never have an abortion or a child when unmarried. A feminist is someone who believes in equal (not "special") rights--and *obligations*-- for women and men. That's all.

I'm surprised to hear this country still has "values". The fact is scientifically the fetus does respond to stimuli, and there is growing evidence that we all carry with us pre-natal experiences, so it's possible that the aborted do have a conscious, so exterminating them by means that would get you arrested for animal cruelty, is morally wrong, and it's not a protected right in the Constitution, arguably because back when it was written most people were married and wanted kids. They did use condoms, fashioned from sheep intestine or the like, there were illegitimate births, kids handed off to relatives or strangers. I refuse to believe it's fair to a child to grow up with only one parent. If you inherit the emotional/intelligence qoutient of your parents, then as you go through life facing problems with that intellect but without the guidance of that person who already learned (hopefully positive) how to cope with the world, it makes things harder. At least that's my reasoning behind so many children of single parents being in jail today. Basically I think it's not giving a damn about that child's future, but there are many married parents out there guilty of that too (and children of married parents in jail). I think liberal feminists have a well meant imgae of how they "feel" things "should be" but just not realistic, and they fall in with decieving political allies like communists/socialist that have brought us the most brutal, least free regimes on the earth. If you wouldn't want to live under the rule of Hitler, Stalin or Kim Jong, why cozy up to them?

This nation was founded on the ideas that you can choose your way of life. That applies to sexuality, religion, and family units. Technically being a carbon copy of Donna Reed or being a completely liberal feminist are upholding this country's basic value: choice.

before they called any femine activitists "liberal" they had other names like "stupid woman" "shrew" later "bit*h" and then the words got worse--all the woman ever wanted was the vote--an equal vote with the man. men called women un-educated and stupid--and there fore not fit to have a good honest and decent opinion of anything. they figured the woman would vote for any handsome charmer and be fooled! and of course they would never have to ever worry that a WOMAN might be voted in president--PMS and all that.---a woman is a human being and her rights are as valid and required as her male counterpart.

Absolutely. Let's have the return of women to the home - throw 50% of the workforce out of the labour pool and reduce productivity by a similar amount. Sounds like a plan to me. Let's also introduce some morality police - they work really well in countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran. Their job would be to find people having affairs, extra marital sex, or anything that doesn't conform to conservative ideals - and then to beat the hell out of them. That'll make people toe the fascist line.
