I believe if one is offended by this film that it is justified, but I was just curious as to what kind of answers I would recieve.

No I'm not as an African American but this is typical of the things that are placed in front of African Americans non issues such as this. Something the Revs Sharpton and Jackson can get behind. While real injustices are going on in the world a lot Africans are being offended by Disney movies and washed up sit-com actors oh excuse me sit-com actors who never really had it but happen to come across a lucky situation

Whatever the other positive or negative aspects of the film, actor James Baskett was given a special Academy Award for his portrayal of Uncle Remus, making him the first African-American man to win an Oscar. That's an achievement worth remembering.

Many are, as Uncle Remus is a stereotype.

There is still talk of releasing it, with a statement about the times in which it was made, but that is still just talk

I am not exactly offended by it, it is a part of our American history. I don't think it needs to be celebrated though. We should be aware of it and not repeat the past.

who really cares, they are always complaining about something, hey guess what the world doesn't revolved around black people!!
