Absolutely not! Talk to your counseling department. They cannot deny you from taking AP tests at all.

I'm taking 6 APs at the end of the year, and my school only offers classes for two of them.

I did self-study for AP World History and still pulled a five. I recommend buying Barron's test prep book for it and absorbing it as a whole. Talk to any AP History teachers your school DOES have and ask them to give you tips on writing the Change-over-time, Comparison, and Document Based essays. Knowing what these are and how to conquer them are your keys to a 5.

Yes you can, but I would not recommend doing it for AP World History. You have no idea how difficult that test is. I took the class and still got a 2. However, if you are set on doing it, buy the Kaplan AP World History study guide and practice writing the essays several times.

Home schooled students and students at schools that do not offer AP classes can participate in the AP testing process, but it is difficult.
