I stopped. I couldn't take it any more. I refuse to submit myself to the torture. Joan's whining and Lynn's mooching is unbearable. Mya and her imaginary problems with Darnell were getting ridiculous. I mean, the were high school sweethearts, married, had a baby, broke up, married again. Wouldn't you think by now they would know to talk to each other instead of jumping to conclusions. And William... Good Lord! What to say about him? I was waiting for the to announce he was Gay.
But as I said, I just couldn't take it. Maybe they'll realize what a major mistake it was letting Toni go.

But I have to say I was a little disappointed in Toni's character. She was, at times, an obnoxious woman, though she had much style! I didn't care how the writers made her marry the little man she did and how they made her become so unsuccessful. Sure, she had narcissistic tendencies but she made the show with her attention grabbing antics.
However, without her, I can't stand Joan's whining. This woman left her career as a lawyer and can't even make it in the restaurant business. What's the deal with Mya and how do you change teenage sons that people won't notice - even though one episode made a joke about Jabari looking different. And, what is with William? Monica is a good witch to dislike and love -he doesn't deserve her, with that round head. And that other moocher with all the tattoos...Lynn...her story lines were just bizarre...she's a talented woman - they can do better with these characters!
Fire the writers!

Obviously the first responder has NOT watched the show ever... both of the women with kids had or do have husbands.... Tony got a divorce from Todd and Maya and Darnell are married and they are all educated women.... but yeah I miss Tony she was so crazy I loved to hate her

Not like I use to. You're right, it isn't the same. Toni might have had a bad attitude sometimes, but she was funny!

anyway that show is not too bad, but it seemed empty.
and they guy who does business with that other female ( they own a resturant and he is getting married to the monica chick).
annoys me. I dont even understand how he is an actor....sigh
maybe its just me, but he seemed way to childish for a man.

I still watch. I can tell that she is gone off the show though. I still like it. Joan just wines to much.

That show was sooooo ghetto. I love how all the women on the show are having babies without the fathers in their lives...LOL and they all seemed proud of eachother for having a child without a male figure present. How GHETTO! I hope not all Black people live this way...although I know many do.
