I don't believe that you are correct. black sheep, black board, black balled, black magic, are not banned you can say them, inf-act you've just written them and so have i, whats going to happen to us? are the PC police coming for us. No
This is an urban myth, which people are believing and adhering to it, therefore giving it weight,

No, that just wouldn't work - it only works ONE way, and that's AGAINST white people. Then again though, it does help that white people don't have a chip on their shoulder, thus, don't take offence to EVERYTHING!!!
Oddly enough, all my black friends don't understand what the big deal is with the baa baa black sheep or anything like that, so I can only think that it is the a*******s in the government that think they are creating 'harmony' by making these pathetic bans, when really they are just building resentment and more hatred between races!!!!
No, your not being petty - Its the P/C army that are causing all this trouble and annoyance!!!!
I fell out with a 'friend' (she is white) because I referred to her daughter as 'black', my friend corrected me and said 'no, actually she is brown' to which I responded 'well, I'm not actually white, I'm more of a pale, pinky, peachy colour, so lets not get pathetic about it'!!!!!
Its the same with that abu hamza (may have spelt his name wrong but I don't care enough to give a s**t how his name is spelt) - he could spout off raciest, threatening rubbish etc in Finsbury park to the public, but I have no doubt in my head that if I went round shouting anti muslim stuff out then I would be arrested for breach of peace or stirring up racial hatred etc!!!
It all only works ONE way and thats AGAINST white people!!!!!
By the way........ I wasn't aware of the 'BLACKboard' ban, however, Im fully aware that when I was at college we used a WHITEboard, and now Im at my Uni we still use a WHITEboard - how is that fair, whats good for one is good for the other!!!!

the reason we use the time period whiteboard is because that's white. those issues we used to jot down on with chalk, were blackboards, because they were black. At no time were instructors informed now to not call them blackboards. The racists made this garbage as a lot as cajole stupid those who their way of life became lower than chance from unnecessary political correctness. by the way, the tale about nurseries practise children "Baa Baa Blue Sheep" became yet another of those lies that the sunlight, Mail and so on loved to document.

Being PC has nothing to do with this. White Christmas has to do with the color of snow. Blackboards? They used to be the color black, then they were green for awhile, with yellow chalk..it was supposed to be easier on the eyes. Now there are whiteboards, used with eraseable liquid markers. The black sheep simply had to do with the fact that most of the sheep were white; the black ones stood out in the crowd..maybe their wool wasn't deemed as saleable as white wool, therefore the negative connotation. Not everything has racial overtones.

Can and will. And have several black friends with the same attitude. No geeky f*cker tells me what I can and can't say. If I offend somebody, they have to be big enough to tell me and I have to be big enough to appologise, where appropriate. You tell people what they can and can't do and you just propgate hate.
If a sheep, board, person or shoe is black, that's what I'm calling it. Ditto white and any other colour with a name.

I had no idea that they had banned it. I don't see the point in it. Anyone can see that it refers to the colour of the board/sheep/snow, so how the hell anyone gets offended is beyond me?
BTW, do people actually get offended, or is it that the government just thinks that they might?

Whilst working in a Computer Shop a few years ago a well dressed African'esque gentleman asked me for the correct ink cartridge for his printer, my response was, "which cartridge would you like - black or colour?".
Funny thing - he found it funny too...

it is actually the pc brigade gone mad
if you ask asians and other coloured people you will find that very few of them actually find all of this stuff offensive.
also i have never met any one of any religion who found christmas to be offensive and wanted it banned. whilst for their own reasons they may not celebrate it they seem to have no wish to prevent others from doing so.
finally a few years ago my son's nursery taught them all to sing "baba coloured sheep" but thankfully they have since come to their senses on that one. still have to refer to a chalk bard though..............
