if this is the only 2 choices then i'd have to go with hamsters,,i don't like cat hairs on the furniture and cats jump on the tables and shelves,,plus i have some parakeets so that wouldn't work out with cats in the house.

The hamsters....then I would construct a house size habitrail that either led out the window, or had a suicide path that went to the toilet. Would eventually be more interesting than watching episodes of "Survivor".

i love cats but i don't think i would want a house full of them... and i don't really like hamsters that much... they are really cute but after awhile they get annoying...

Cats just because they are pretty cool and can be friendly or deceptively mean lol....watch Cats & Dogs :)
