Do some people have a "smell"? I can smell my pregnant neighbor and it drives me nuts. It's like a very, very intense smell that I cannot describe, and no it's not typical stinky BO, even though I find it unpleasant. It's best described as a "must". In public, I smell it in other pregnant women too. The larger they are, the more pungent it is. I can smell other people too. Namely my kids and even myself. Once again, it's not a BO, it's like a signature. Outside of the pregnant people, it's just a distinctive marker for that person. Yet, with them, it's like a must from a wild creature. I know this sounds odd, but if ANYONE knows what I speak of, please reassure me I'm not crazy. My husband thinks I am/..LOL! Thanks.

I have smelled people before. Like you said, it's not a body odor, like they haven't showered, or have been running a marathon. It's not like a perfume or cologne, either. People DO have an odor, though. I know some people of Asian descent who have a particularly pungent odor, and someone told me it comes from the foods they eat, like kim-chee, or something. It's really a bad smell, but it's not like they mean to stink. It's just that they are not aware of it.

So yes, people do have a smell.

Yes, some people do tend to have a different, not BO smell. It's strange. And there are others who smell like a pet store. Still can't figure that one out.

Dear Micheele,
Indeed people do have a "smell" but I think the term you mean to use is "musk." You must have a very sensitive nose! If it bothers you, try either flavored lipgloss, Carmex, or a mint. Oh, and if you are pondering on a job, do not explore CSI, or forensic medicine. You are not crazy! Be gentle with your husband. It's hard for others to believe what they have not experienced.

Most people have a certain odour to them if even if they have the best hygiene habits as most men and women create natural odours, But i would say that maybe you have a heightened sense of smell and reckon that you are not crazy

My husband says I have a distinct smell. I keep asking if I shouldn't be washing more often, but he says "no, you just smell like you".
I don't think you're crazy.

Yes everyone has a smell. I believe your smell can be affected by health conditions and diet.

You seem to be hypersensitive to smells. It is not common, but it happens. It seems that your sense of smell is more developed than most people.

Do a search for "Pheromone" and read up on them, you may be particularly sensetive to them
