Believe it or not, studying math enabled me to score very high on the LSAT and get into the best law school in the state. For me, it wasn't so much the "math" involved, but the process of thinking logically and setting up problems. I used to be a MATH HATER....now I'm learning it because I WANT to.

Because our basic economy requires math to determine profit/loss, exchange rates, interest rates, taxes.

If you couldn' do any math, how would you know whether you're getting paid the right amount?

Because if we didn't have math, it'd be hard to manage things. Especially in warfare and food production.

The basic use of maths is in trade...and we need trade!

But its also used in many things...in medicine...in technology and im sure lots of other things too!
