while asking this age old question ,why people forget cock, without whom it was impossible to get an egg?It is assumed that without cock and hen, the egg could not come AND without egg, the cock and hen could not come, so the right question should be--- who came first ,the egg or the hen or the cock???am i right????

This is an old question, and even with the 3rd actor in this picture, it's the egg that STILL has come first, since eggs were around long long before hens, or the actor you've just introduced for consideration. This was thought-provoking, however.

Addendum: I really see FOUR astericks in those blank spaces. I think he refers to a tool that a rooster has.

A chicken and an egg were laying in bed together smoking cigarettes. The egg turns to the chicken, who has a very satisfied look on his face, and with a snide tone says, "Well, I guess we answered THAT question."

The egg came out first. Dinosaurs laid eggs before chickens even existed.

The chicken did. The chicken evovled from whatever chickens evolve from. Or god(s) said "let there be chickens" and they started laying eggs all over the place.

I guess if he was a gentleman rooster, he let the hen come first.
