I feel like this very often too!! It's very destructive behaviour which comes from bad things happening to you, therefore you expect the worst. Next time something good happens, however small it may be, write it down and don't be suspicious as good things are a part of life, just as bad ones are. Keep writing them down and look back on them when the list has grown. You'll then realise it's not all bad, and never turn down opportunities that could be good for you. Go with your gut feeling. Get a copy of the book, 'Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway' by Susan Jeffers. It's a good read and helped me feel more positive after a car crash when I lost all my self confidence and positivity.

yep, its only the human thing to do is warn yourself of dangers, the way we are im afraid it just depends on how much risk you want to take... more risk you take less apprehensive you become, im not saying go drink driving or sky diving but try not to think of teh negative, you can actually create bad luck from thinking negative too much... do what you want to do sum it up is it worth it? yes then do it.... i wouldnt drive to work if i thought a lorry would crash into me! but did you know, fact more accidents happen at home that outside! keep that in mind

you're right. Dont be so uptight. good things will happen to you if you let them and life is all about ups and downs. You cant possibly have good times if you've never had bad times. Take a few risks and enjoy life a bit more.

I know what you mean, I have the same problem, and it drives my boyfriend crazy.
1. try to think good thoughts only.
2. Try going to see a psychiatrist; they can help you out, and maybe give you some meds for it. that's what I'm going to do.
