Is she lying???

Im pretty sure this girl is lying to me but, i starte to think about it and now i dont know. First, when she originally told me the story she wouldnt make eye contact with me, she went out of her way to not look at me. But, then she changed the story 4 different times. I think she's just jealous that this guy makes sit so obvious he likes me because the ;ies were about him! Things like "oh he's getting homeschooled cause his grades are bad (even though his parents just bought him a new phone and new shoes!) and (he like some girl named Andrea (even though im pretty sure he likes me) Do you think she's lying?

It sounds like this girl is obviously trying to ward you off "her man." She is so making it seem like she wants this guy and you shouldn't be getting in her way to get the guy. I say ignore it and if you really thinks he likes you continue to hang out with him. If this girl decides to stop lying and goes to something else such as sabotage then you need to tell an adult but otherwise continue to hang out with this guy and have fun. Don't let this girl's lying get you down. If you really want to find out the truth ask him and only him. Don't believe this girl for one minute. Talk to the guy and if he doesn't give you a straight answer about any of what this girl is saying then you might as well drop the guy but ask him whether this girl is telling the truth and you will probably find out the truth.

Unless she was not brought up in this culture and doesn't know the eye contact is the way to tell the truth. Then Yes, I agree with you that she is lying. Especially since she can't keep her story straight. Or keep eye contact most of the time.

Most people who won't look you in the eye while telling you something, then keeps changing their story different times are definitely not telling the truth. Sounds like she wants your boy friend pretty bad. I think you should mark her off your list as a friend, and tell your boy friend what she is saying. That should clear up whatever doubts you have about her.

Since her story keeps changing, she may very well be lying.
She may have a crush on him herself and doesn't want any competition. Not even from you.

The gifts from his parents doesn't mean ANYTHING. They're going to love their son, no matter what.

The bit about his liking a girl named Andrea...Well, just simply ask him.
Walk up to him and say, "Hey! I heard you have a thing for a girl named Andrea. That's great! Is it true?"

If he says,"Yes", say, "Wow. Does she know?"
That way he won't suspect you of having a crush on him.

If he says "No.", your girlfriend has probably been lying about everything else too.

But that said I wouldn't listen to her to much if I where you. Girls can be pretty ghastly to one another when they get jealous an she maybe doesn't even care about the guy!

Go with your gut instinct. I think they are right on. I hope she's not a friend of yours...If not, then why listen to her crap? I'd stay the hell away from her. She sounds like nothing but trouble.
