Is time travel really possible? It is after all a theory and not a scientific fact...

Time travel is NOT possible.

Traveling the speed of light has nothing to do with traveling time.

Suppose you want to go back in time, even if you could go the speed of light or faster, all of time cannot change, how? because atoms would need to have a memory on where they were previously so that they could go back to where they were.

Time elapses EVERYWHERE so it is not possible to travel fast in one place and change time in all places.

Even changing time for one object is not possible, rather this is the effects of energy (or the lack of energy) upon an object.

The whole theory is based on what would happen if we could travel the speed of light or faster, so let's think about this, do we know of anything that travels the speed of light? hmm, i think we do... and get ready for the best answer ever! We know of somthing that travels the speed of light. Light travels the speed of light right? well yes of course! but, IF the theory of time travel were true, IF it really was, then the light coming out of a star would go back in time to the time when it was in the star and the star would never lose ANY of its energy, but this is not true at all. Not true. This would apply to every electronic device as well, why would we have a need for electricity to go into our computer screens if it could just recycle the energy?

Now everyone can finally understand that time travel is impossible. problem solved everybody!

Can i please please please work for nasa now???
:)

Let me just start off by saying Mike R thats funny ha. ok

lest see time travel......ummmm. dang.... well in my mind if you can travel back in time that means there has to be some sort of alt universe because if there was only 1 universe then you would go back in time and then go back to your time and just repeate and time would be forzen there forever....thats all i got

Time travel is not possible. Time cannot change the space.
It is fiction.

Yes. Right now I am going to jump in my time machine. I am going back 10 minutes. That way I can stop you from asking this question! LOL

If you can go faster than light then its possible. A black hole sucks in light so our rules of physics might not exist in there, but then again, neither would you.

It's a reality!! I do it all the time. You wouldn't believe the places I've been and the things I've seen. Come to think of it no one else believes me either. Am I crazy?
