My sister-in-law's family has the Wii and they like it. My husband and 8 year old had fun playing with it. I don't know anything about the PS3.

Wii's better because the Playstation 3 is similar to the PSP. Just portable. My advice: Get Nintendo WII.

I have played both at my local gamestop.

the wii is pretty fun. it takes some getting used to. i probably woudn't buy it though, because the main reason i play video games is when im tired or stressed and want to unwind. i dont really want to be flinging my arms wildly.

ps3 isn't very differen't from the ps2 except graphically. The controller was a little different, but not much new. 360 has the best games.

I've heard lots of rumors that the PS3 is very buggy, and I don't think that it's worth the hassle right now, but I got a Wii, and I think it's phenomenal, because it's more intuitive than other gaming systems, so people who don't usually play video games can enjoy it, and actually want to play it. Also, its games can require you to move around since the console can sense where the contorller is and what orientation it's in. It's real cool.

Yeah, they're both good. I'd say Wii is better... at least at the moment, because of more games and no problems.
