Hmm... I was too young during most of the Clinton years to keep track of politics (I'm eighteen this year). HOWEVER, two positive things he DID do:
He signed the DOMA (Defense Of Marriage Act)
He instituted at "Don't ask ,don't tell" policy in the Armed Services, thereby keeping a person's sexual orientation from becoming an issue which would threaten the efficiency of the military.
