In Kingdom of Heaven,
What is the main source of conflict in the film? How is the conflict resolved? How does the ending suggest that the resolution won't hold?

The main conflict is who will possess and control the holy city of Jerusalem...as it is holy to Christians, Muslims and Jews. In this case between the Muslims & Christians. It is only temporarily resolved as mentioned at the end when the city "falls" to the Muslim empire. It mentions that the Muslims have only a tenuious hold on the city...as history has proven. Today of courseit is controled by Isreal and the Jewish faith.
