The hearbeat seems like a good indicator that things are ok. As long as there is no cramping I wouldn't stress. I bled with one of my pregnancies for the first 15 wks and even with ultrasound nothing seemed wrong. No explanation.

i had bleeding with my last child, no 3 by the way, and it was more than just spotting. it happened for a while on and off. i was told by my doctor that sometimes the placenta breaks away from the wall of the uterus and you get some bleeding and when the placenta reattaches itself the bleeding stops. when you are bleeding stay off your feet as much as possible and when sitting or lying down, prop your feet up, it takes pressure off your pelvis and helps the placenta to reattach itself. the bleeding stopped after the first trimester and my baby was born perfectly healthy. i hope this helps.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and that also happened to me when I was 8 to 9 weeks I got really scared thinking it might be a possible miscarriage so I did everything on my hands, such as no sex no house work just laying down in my bed so if I was you I would probably be doing that. Well then I went to the Dr he checked me and she said everything looked good not to worry, so if they checked you already and everything looked normal just take it easy anyway. Good Luck.

I have read in many different books that once you hear a heart beat, the child has a very high chance of servival. Keep a positive mind set! (I know, easier said then done) I wish you all the best of luck with the new baby!

Some women do get inexplicable bleeding throughout all of their pregnancies, perhaps you may be one of them?
Others have one time only bleeds that might last a while...

Your doctor won't have lied to you about this, you're fine, and your baby is fine, so please, please STOP STRESSING! It's not doing you or your baby much good...RELAX!

Well your bleeding could be from small lacerations in your vagina. If you are having *ahem* rowdy sex with your partner tell them to cool it. Other than that i dont know how anyone on here can tell you anything.

have just had the same problem im 9wks now and baby is fine could be your 'period' which is normal. or sex could be to rough and you may need to take a break if you are still having sex.

try some bed rest so bleeding can clot. dont over exert yourself.if its very minor you should be ok.
