Both have only contributed to killing more than all illegal drugs combined a hundred times over.......
What part did you miss when the surgeon general stated under oath that nicotine was at least as addictive as heroin if not moreso?

They ARE addictive, but people who use them -CHOOSE to use them.

Alcohol and nicotine are drugs but are not illegal. We have not reached the stage yet (in most parts of the country) where prohibition of cocaine, heroin etc does more harm than good.
