How stupid would a person have to be to throw their Wiimote through their expensive Hi Def television? Is there really anyone so completely oblivious as to stand infront of a $3,000 Television and swing their Wiimote hard enough to damage it if they lost their grip and not think 'Hey, maybe I'm swinging this too hard?'

Is there anyone here that's actually done this, or is this all 'a friend did' crap?

Also, anyone claiming that their wrist strap broke is trying to cover for the fact that they wern't wearing it. I don't wear mine, either. I took it off.

Why?

Because I'm not dumb enough to swing it as hard as I can at my Television.

Yes they are really stupid. Oh and it if is "kids" then clearly if they had good PARENTS they would be taught to be more GENTLE. I really doubt that you have to swing the thing that hard that it would fly off like that. Then to claim it is kids leaves the question of what parent would let their kid play on a TV that is that expensive if it is that easy to break? Sorry I'm not buying it. I believe the TVs get broke but I believe that it is people making excuses for the most part as to the thing breaking.

stupid? well, then.. 300 people, on the site wiihaveaproblem.com who had the same problem, are just as stupid. i heard the strap is pretty thin. if it's a little worn out it can break. it doesn't take a big wack to break a HDTV screen. it's very delicate. they should have the strap much stronger cuz kids play with the game so they don't know what they are doing.

edit: nintendo is stupid to not consider the stupid ppl.. if your gonna have a game out, you should make it child safe and safe with idiots who play it. also, i don't have a wii, ps3, or xbox. i'd rather read a book and increase my vocabulary than pushing buttons and wasting my life
