Houston, Atlanta or Dallas?
I will soon have a degree in both video production and graphic design. I plan on relocating soon after college. Which city has the best job market/industry for my fields: Atlanta, Houston, or Dallas?

Being very familiar with the Dallas and Houston markets, I would say that Dallas has more opportunities for your specialties due to its more "image-forward" personality. However the Dallas market is highly-competitive for those positions and even breaking into them can be tough. The talent in the Houston market is not as deep due to the more "sexy" opportunities provided in environments that are not centered around the oil and gas industries and that focus more on technology / telecom / banking / startups / etc. That is not to say that there is not opportunity in Houston of course but it is a bit different. Of course your specific goals in your career could make Houston a better choice over Dallas or vice versa. Good luck in your decision!

The best way to decide on where to live is to visit there in the last week of August. :) Hope this helps!

I live in Houston. Chances are good here, but I feel they would be good in Dallas also. It is less humid in Dallas if that eliment bothers you. Houston is growing so fast. Everything is here. We love it. Of course this is our beloved city. Good luck to you !!

Got to be Atlanta. CNN, the Turner Networks, and The Weather Channel are all located there.
