Yes, typical ligands that do this are nitrites, sulfites, thiocyanates, and selenocyanates... It's not that important though, typically the kind of stuff that you have to memorize for inorganic chemistry exams, but it's not exactly the most important chemical principle around.

I would believe that linkage isomerism is common with transition metals becuase you must have a ligand attraction to a metal and the transition metals make up the bulk of the periodic table.
