I had my last period 45 days back, so I am more than 10 days due. Usually my breasts hurt around 2-3 days before a period, this time, no such signs. No other possible reasons such as sickness, medication or stress.

The only thing is that about 40 days back my husband and I had sex and he withdrew before ejaculation, and I have read one could get pregnant bcoz of that. I did a HPT (1st response) 2 days back and it came out negative.

I dont want to be pregnant at this point in my life! I dont know what to expect! Any suggestions????

Thanks

You can never expect a clear answer to such a question here.
If you had no sex since that time 40 days ago, immediately after your last period, I think it to be unlikely that you are pregnant.
If you see a doctor, he can give you more certainty about that and he may also find, why your period is delayed, if not by pregnancy.

The only thing I can suggest is going to the doctors and getting a blood test, seems like your only option here, or , wait it out.Your delayed period could be due to you worrying so much about it. Instead of thinking that you may be pregnant, think about your period arriving. It always helped me when I was late and worried about being pregnant. Good luck and dont stress too much. The withdrawal method is 96% effective.

why are you asking on here. the only positive way to know is to take another test or go to the doctor and get a blood test done.

First off, If you suspect you may be pregnant, make an appointment to see your obgyn. Secondly, if now is a bad time to get pregnant why don't you use condoms, birth control pills, the patch, something other than the rythum method. (Duh) They aren't that expensive and you could get them for free at the local "Planned Parenthood" clinic.
