The more expansion packs and downloads you add to your game, the more errors will show up. The Sims 2 is one of the most complicated and taxing games on the computer today. No computer I know of is "perfect" for the Sims 2; on the other hand, I've never heard of a computer ruined by the game.
All that your game is telling you is that anytime you save the game any interactions with/ reactions to a stupid tree not be recorded because the tree somehow is not located in the right place on your hard drive.
It's a tree! I'd say keep playing. If it disrupts game-play find the tree and delete it.

Is it a popup notifying you of this, or is it showing up in your cheat box? I get a few that show up in my cheat box that look weird like that. And they started to show up after I downloaded some hacks and custom content from the internet.

All I can actually understand is that something is happening in your first neighborhood. Which would be that pleasant one. And an object is obviously having an error in it lol. It could be an object you might have downloaded. You might want to contact technical support. Or if you've downloaded any custom content or hacks, delete them. If you don't know which ones they are, you might have to delete them all sadly :/. See if that might fix the problem.

It appears one of your objects has corrupted. I suggest that you re-install the sims to fix it. There should be an option to re-install the game and that should protect your families and objects.

However, if there is not an option you will have to save everything you want to keep in a different folder, and un-install sims 2 and then re-install it from scratch. When the install is complete, test the game. If it works put your content back in the applicable folders.
