Well simply because the people of this world no longer respect themselves or others. And when people become like that for whatever reasons they can't see their noses inspite of there faces, And their minds can't accept some very real truths because the truth no longer fits into their agenda.... It has been proven time and time again that the spirit realm is real and we receive a glimpses into that spiritual wold every now and then and not only wonder what we are really seeing but how to process the information that we just witness.......................... There is a lot of information out there that can tell us a lot about the spirit world and all you have to do is seek it................. Stay strong and gain wisdom and stay safe........................ If you need further information on this subject I can be reached at marks4460@mypacks.net.

people are afraid to believe in ghosts because of common conceptions and beliefs where admittance even to another person who has undergone a similar experience, may cause others to believe that they are crazy, and then no stock can be put into their words. also the idea that a soul can be trapped here after death is a scary concept and goes against many religions, such as Christianity where there is only three destinations after death (purgatory, hell and heaven)also the person may not be able to cope and may repress the memory or deny the truth of what happened.

if someone wants to believe in ghosts then they will do because they are more open to the idea of life after death than those who claim that ghosts dont exist, and before you make up your own mind as to whether they do or don't, let me give you something to think about, scientists claim that the brain is like a computer sending electrical signals around the body, so here's the puzzle, if the scientists are right, then what happens to that electrical energy when we die?, where does it go?

I can tell you few reason's why people don't believe in ghost:
1) It is the major reason. Ghosts always appear in the darkness and never in daylight, in lighted areas and even in crowds.
2) No many people can say for sure if they have really seen something. most have heard of ghost or just experienced some feeling while in some dark places alone. This lonely thing can be due to any nervous state of mind. Any one can be scared by even a sound from drop of pen in the middle of night in a desert or old palace.
3) Ghost activities are most of the time one time experience. You really can't reproduce it or even show other people as proof. Say you tell that you saw a ghost last night in your backyard. next night you take your friend there, you can't show him again! So, why should he believe?
Hope you got the points.
In my opinion, it simply make no sense of believing in such scary things. if you believe, you are more likely to experience it because you are in that state of mind.

I feel there are things out there people perceive to be ghosts, but I'm not convinced all these things are the spirits of dead humans.
They have shown that high level geomagnetic or electromagnetic activity can create many of the effects associated with hauntings, and can also stimulate parts of the brain. Perhaps this could cause hallucination?

Well some people need to see to believe, Lot's will tell you they don't exist, and it's all in the mind, but ask them to prove they don't and they can't. Lot's are afraid because proof will condemn a lot of what they believe, it is so much easier to say you don't believe, but i can tell you they do, and as time goes by more will find out the truth

The people who don't, need to be convinced. Until they see one, they will never believe in them. It's like the old saying, "I have to see it to believe it!" Nowadays people need solid facts before believing in the simplest things. So believing there are ghosts is even harder, because it is a very "out-there" topic. And thought to be more of a mythe than anything else.

Why people don't believe in Santa Klaus, Aphrodite, Ness lake's monster, ghosts, God, gnomes, UFOs, Devil?
Simple. Because some people see that think rationally is a better way to understand the world than believe in sobrenatural beings without any proof.

Because they do not exist! Seing is believing....and I have never seen anything to suggest spirits exist (other than those in the optics in pubs).
Ghosts are just products of an overactive imagination and a delusional personality.
so all those who say ghosts dont exist...are saying it because they have not seen one. Just because you believe dont mean to say they have to!
