Ok, so I took a pregnancy test a couple of weeks ago, because every morning I would wake up and have the runs... I am not a known "thrower upper". I have only thrown up like 5 times in my whole life (about to be 23 years old). Just wanted to rule it out, and shut people up. When we took it, it came back with the reg line, and then it had a neg line... but faintly, you could see the grey line for the positive... we just threw it away, thinking it was negative. My fiance is a lover of yahoo answers, and likes to just read some of the funny ones, he came across one that was similar.. (minus the whole not throwing up thing) and everyone responded with YOU ARE PREGNANT. ... Now, I am curious, and cant stop thinking about it. Is it true? Could it be? Help!

Get a blood test. During my first pregnancy my urine tests came back negative (for the first 3 weeks of being pregnant). They finally did a blood test and it was positive.

Its common to have a false negative so you should take another test to be sure, if it comes back negative also and you have some symptoms you should go and get a blood test it should come back with the correct result. I personally had the negative result until over 9 weeks pregnant, I only found out by blood test, then ultrasound. Good luck and relax.

I can tell you that even if the line is faint it is a positive result, even if the line is VERY faint. My friend bought me a test and I took it and said..."I dunno, I can baraly see the line..." and she said "yup, your prego!" The next day I went and had a test done at the docs office and sure enough I was. Take another test if you want, but if there was even the faintest line, I would say ur pregnant. If you werent, there would not be a line at all, not even a faint one. Congratulations if you are! Oh, and I was in denile even when my friend told me it was a pos result (she is the mom of 3) and after the doc said I was I STILL wasnt sure, but now I have a beautiful baby girl! (6months old)

re-take the test if you're still wondering. I had what they call a "late positive" where it showed up on the stick 3 hours later. took it in to the docs a week later and he did his own and came back positive.

I would definatly try another test. I tryed several tests before getting a positive that my son was on his way.
