I returned a $30 shirt on Saturday with my debit card. However, the refund was not shown on my online statement when I checked it on the same day. Will I get the money back on my debit card?

Wait and check it later. Transactions usually post overnight. In case there is a problem hold onto your receipt from the return, but so far it sounds perfectly normal.

Yes, the banks are quick to debit a account but it takes a little longer to get a credit. It should show up after 4:00 p.m. Monday.

The possible reason could be that it wouldn't show up till the next business day. It could also be that the store may wait till end of day to process refunds on credit or debit.

It depends on when the store batches their machines and when you bank posts transactions. You will get the money back on your debit. Check it in a few days.

It takes a while for the bank to put it through the computers etc, check it in a few days

Sometimes they take a few days to show a credit, sometimes up to a week. it just depends on how long it take for them to process the credit. It is dependent on your bank and the store. Make sure you keep your receipt showing you received a credit, that way if it doesnt show up you have something to show you should have.

wait till monday usually its not in till the next business day . wait till wednesday the latest then call and see whats going on. hopr this helps
