Most DSL companies will provide the router (or modem) as part of the service or as a rental fee. That way, it is compatible with the service they provide.
I current have a Qwest 1.5M standalone DSL and the DSL modem is provided with the service.
As far as a router to connect your PCs to the DSL, whether it be wireless or hardwired, you will have to provide that.

I don't know if Time Warner will provide a router, but you should be able to buy your own for about US$50 at any computer or office-supply store. Routers and DSL modems are pretty much universally compatible; just get a router with the features you need.

I have TW too. They will supply you with a router, but I think it's around $4 a month for it. We just went and bought ours from Best Buy for $80, but if the internet messes up, TW always blames aour router, and it's a huge hassle.

Yes they can supply a router at an ADDITIONAL cost.
At least my Time Warner does...
Basically to answer your question, yes they do, however you may save money by purchasing one off the shelf. (That is if you can install it, or find someone to install it for a cheap price.)
