The libs tell us that if we don't like their Hollywood garbage that we should just not watch it! Why can't they make good FAMILY films? Do we really have to see someones breast or butt in every film? We don't swear around our house - do they HAVE to swear in the movies? NO to both.

The media does have power but it is relative. Are you going to jump off a bridge because Sean Hannity told you to? You are in control over your own actions. Don't go blaming the people in TV land if you are causing problems in your own community. Blaming the media for the downfall of society is a crutch used by powerless people who are too scared to be a politically active member of society.

I hope the only media that matters is my show. Just imagine how wonderful the world would be if everyone believed the crap I spew was the truth.

Uh the media does affect the way people behave as evidenced by the rather extraordinary amount of people who still support Bush and his crooked policies.

The media only affects people if they listen to it. Look at how conservative talk radio has helped the conservative movement. Look at how the old media has turned public opinion against a just war. What the liberals understand is people believe what they hear. When people hear things over and over again, their subconscious start to believe it. If you can stomach watching liberal talk people on these CNN type networks, watch how they talk about hypothetical this and that. .

You hit the nail on the head. The media and celebrities have a lot of power. Its a shame for hard-working Americans who pay for their entertainment and in return are pumped full of liberal propaganda. For this reason alone, I truly believe the more educated party is the Republican party. They are more likely to scoff at the opinions of the botox-filled faces we see in movies and on daily news shows.

whom said that it did not affect people?
Too bad FOX News is the only station that every time you turn to it, they are showing some murder and describing it in horrific detail. At least the Big Three show real news.
Rebel, Herbert Hoover wa president from 1929 to 1933, how could he hire them in the forties?
