www.mymonthlycycles.com This actually helped us conceive. It's got an ovulation calendar there and menstrual cycles, etc. They also have ALL that information that you need to tell if and when you're ovulating, I personally just picked up ovualtion kits, but there are ways to tell that you're ovulating on your own. Discharge is more abundant at this time and at a different consistency. Body temp is higher. Your progesterone rises (blood work). Look into this site, have a peek and see what else you can find .. Good luck ...

The absolutely best resource I have read on the subject is called Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. She lists the signs, even showing pictures of fertile quality cervical fluid vs. non-fertile quality.
I personally like her approach because she helps a woman understand her body so thoroughly that you're left wondering why your Ob/Gyn never told you that. I also appreciate her fun and easy way of writing, especially without the heavy overtones of Catholic beliefs, which is often what comes up when trying to find this out.
So, with that said, here's some of the signs in a nutshell.....
1. your cervical fluid often begin to resemble egg white - and can be long and stretchy.
2. your temperature taken in the morning before you do ANYTHING (even getting out of bed) will be a few points higher than normal. (This sign is one that you already have ovulated.)
3. the position of your cervix will feel differently than it usually does (go to Toni's book to get the full description of this - I still haven't mastered this sign after 8 months of watching my cycles)
What is so cool is that you'll begin to see how amazing a woman's body is, and how subtle changes can tell you a lot. It's exciting, and it's a relief to know that I don't have to rely on the Pill for birth control or on "chance" when I'm ready to get pregnant.
