Actually not really girls are more happy, open and honest to the world, they express they feeling more openly than men. Also if a girl have those kinds of issues its probaly because they have some physicoligical problems or they have been regected or have been heart broken. Some girls may posses shome shame after giving birth but its all in their head and its because hormones. So the answer its False.

True. It's hard NOT to be depressed when looking at women who are crazily underweight and deemed beautiful by societal standards.
Of course I fall in the 70%! I'm nearly 23, and everytime I look at one of those magazines I have an urgency to lose weight or slim down.

So many women (especially teen girls) feel "depressed, shameful, and guilty" when they look at other women who are thin and beautiful, especially models.
This does not affect me. Rather, I just enjoy their beauty and the clothes they are showing. Fashion is an art, not something that is meant to make one feel insecure. I think it is because I remove myself from the conformist part of society that causes media and people in general to have less of an affect on me. The beauty standard in America is so bogus, so I just focus on WHO I AM and what I personally want.

True, because most girls are ashamed of the way that they look. They are depressed about a breakup or they are guilty or breaking up with their boyfriend

Sometimes it makes me think, but I know that the magazines aren't 100% real. There is more airbrushing, special lighting, special makeup, etc going on than we will ever know.

No, I look for hints but follow my own fashion sense and anyway these models are too thin and do not represent the majority of us women out there

No, I'm in the 30% who feel bored, bothered and bewildered. I just don't get fashion. Why can't we just wear what looks good and feels good, not the weird crap in mags?
