I really don't know but some of the answers I read are false. No one in the mlb doesn't wear a helmet when they catch. They may wear a conventional mask but all of them wear helmets.

I can think of 2 catchers right off the bat,Dan Wilson-retired,but Kenji Johjima wears a conventional mask.

If I recall correctly, Ramon Hernandez (currently of the Baltimore Orioles) wears the traditional mask, but he might have a helmet, not a regular baseball cap. He was wearing the mask during the 2006 season, which is very recently.

at present mine has been going from side to side between sixteen-17%...yet i think this is on slow downward style because of the fact some months in the past it replace into around 19-20%...via the top of the year i desire to be at one million-2%. whilst it is going to a damaging quantity, which would be my clue to pass on..
