Blower motor is another term for the heater / AC fan motor. This is the fan that blows the heater and air conditioner inside the passenger compartment!

just depends on which type of blower motor you are refering to 1. heater fan (sometimes refered to as blower motor)
2. an engine with a roots type blower system is called a blower motor

tricky question. Motor are usually electrical and it sounds like you are asking for a fan type motor. Had you said a blower engine, I would have said an engine with a blower (power adder) that introduces more air by pressuring it into the engine. It allows for more air and gasoline to provide for of a combustoin and therefore more horsepower.
