Hitler wrote "Mein Kampf" ("My Struggle") about 10 years before he took power in Germany, while he was doing time in prison for the Beer Hall putsch, which was basically a demonstration advocating overthrow of the govevernment. As anyone who read the book can tell you, he was highly delusional and egomaniacal even at that stage of his life, and simply thought he had something important and interesting to say. In that book he espoused many of his opinions on sociology, government, the "jewish problem" and creating the master race.

Propaganda and self agrandizement. Hitler was, first and foremost, an egomaniac. He put out a book call Mein Kampf, which means:My Dream. Actually it had little to do with anything that happened. It was generally ignored and did not sell well.

Just another way for him to spout all his jew hating crud before he managed to take over. He had to do something with his time. It just proves how truly sick he was and how stupid the world could get.
