I played Zelda for three hours last night laying down. That is not the issue others seem to think it is.

The main case for the 360 is excelent multiplayer support, sometimes to the point of ignoring other factors, and a much better graphical output.

The Wii's graphics aren't that great, slightly better than the old XBox, but if you'd like to try something a little different the Wii's a good choice. The controler is neat and, like I said, you don't need to stand up. Infact, it can actually be a bit lazier, since you don't hold your hands a certian distance appart.

It sounds to me you might like a 360 better. If what you really wanted was a PS3, the 360 is way closer to a PS3 than the Wii is. It's a poorman's PS3. Wii is something else entirely.

They're apples and oranges. If you liked Apples just fine, you might not wanna gamble $250 on an orange. I'm bored with apples, though, and I really like my orange. ^_^

*edit* V-Dog is also completely incorrect on the price and availability. There are another 2 Million Wii's yet to hit the shelves and I had very little trouble getting mine. Even if you buy one on eBay instead, it'll cost $350. I don't think anyone would pay $600 for a Wii.

Anyone who breaks their TV by flinging their Wiimote at it is a complete and total idiot. There is absolutly no reason you'd need to swing it that hard. NONE.

There are plenty of good reasons not to get a Wii, people. Try to use the good ones and not the blind assumptions that you hear other people spewing.

That's a tough decision I'm kinda in the process of deciding between the both of them. I think I'm just going to go with the 360 because I'm an x-box fan and i want to play the new games that they have for it. But the Wii is pretty cool but if you don't want to be standing all the time then get the 360. I would go with the 360.

Halo 3 is also coming out on it so that's why I'm getting it.

xbox. cuz the wii stinks. it's got problems. one guy broke his 3,000 dollar tv cuz the strap on the wii remote broke. you can't replace the tv. i heard of the xbox overheating. if it does that, you can replace it. just go to the store and they'll most likely give you a new one.

i recommend the xbox all the way. also, the wii thinks u'll get exercise with the game but ur not jump or getting any exercise. you just stand there swinging a remote.

if you're into online gaming, i would also recommend the xbox 360 all the way. the wii sucks and so does the games.. most of the games on the wii are on the gamecube as well and some of the games are non responsive to the remote.

Take the xbox because the graphics are great and it has more better games and its cheaper by about 100-200 because the wii is new and people want it so it cost about 600 with an original price of a bout 300 and an xbox is about 400.

u should get the wii since u dont have enough money for the 360. and since u said u like to relax on a reclinar and chill, u should buy the classic controller for it, its only $20. oh and if ure planning to get a game, get Zelda Twilight Princess. but if u do get enough money for the 360, get it and the game Gears of War

I heard the Nintendo Wii breaks and can mess up your television. The xBox 360 also has more games since it's been out longer than the Wii.

get the xbox 360, Nintendo has been slowly declining the last 10 years... i have the feeling sooner or later that they will either stick to the sporadic handheld or like sega, just go into game making.

Microsoft is definately a company here to stay... so, personally i see no real choice... its Xbox 360 100%
