I have no idea what it is, or how to go about selling it. But if it is authenitic, have you tried selling it on ebay? Through ebay, you can also find out the current seeling value by doing a search and see what similar items are work.
Also, might be worth trying auctioneers, they're alwys keen to get special items.

christies at london. if u send a picture with a few details etc, they'll value it or offer u a price (depending if they want it)
