Ok, there's a xmas party next week and the theme is hollywood...I'm oriental and so won't really pull off as marilyn monroe!! Although it wud be a laugh!! So looking for other ideas for a hollywood party??? Unfortunately im not a boy so can't just don a suit and go as Bond....Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :)!!

I was thinking you might try a Liz Taylor look when she did "Cleopatra". With dark hair and all the eye makeup she had you could pull that off easily. Plus it would be as sexy as Marilyn anyways.
Besides why stereo-type yourself into a ethnic type of costume... too obvious not to mention boring. Being Cleopatria would be apparent as to which Hollywood person you are as opposed to people trying to figure out who you are trying to be.

At this time of year you can get a lot of glam dresses and outfits such as a gold lame dress or a tight fitting 1950's glam girl red suit with peplum and slanted hat to wear low just over one eye.
I think you need gloves for whatever outfit you choose. You could do a chorus girl with fishnet tights, or you could do the 1950's style Betty Page tight suited girl... or do a wavy hairstyle and go as the Black Dahlia. Or do a gold sleeveless dress and Cleopatra makeup. Or wear those high boots and a big 1990 wig and be Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman! :D

Be any big celeb you want...don't worry if you don't look like the celeb you are pretending to be! Try being your favorite actress, comedian (who's female), tv star, etc. Also, pretending you are a model would also be really neat. It's really chic and glam, and has a great hollywood vibe. If you wanted to be a model, just slap on your hottest big shades and put on your cutest outfit...pair that with some cute heels, and you are a model!
Basically, just be yourself and be original. Don't worry about if you look like the person you are pretending to be...just have fun.

go as Audrey hepburn or Lucy Liu and have two of your friends be the other Charlies Angels or find a guy and helel be Bond and you can be a Bond girl

you could go as Lucie Lu or if you're a Breakfast At Tiffany's fan and do not mind being a little brave you could go as the very un-pc Mickie Roonie character.

in case you watch 90210 it relatively is in la and all of there clothing are quite lovable maybe get a severe wasted skirt and a fancy ideal or maybe slightly summer season dress! you may inspect photos of the 90210 forged maybe which will help!

okay so i just through a party like this for my friend. i just dressed up in a fancy dress and just said that i was princess diana, but you could probly pull of a memoir of gesha or mulan or somethin ;)
