I have nothing to look forward to, i'm sorta excelling at school, i have no FRIENDS what so ever and spend my days doing the same thing day in and day out, i figured that i might as well take away my misery once and for all if there's nothing to look forward to in my life, all of you are truly lucky to have such a positive outlook, i wish i could somehow relate and feel the same.

Hang in there!

Make a list of all the things you hate. It helps focus the mind. Later you can add descriptions and nuances to some of the items. Things like work (later it may turn out to be the type of work), people you hate (ok to list this, you may find out that these people share a common trait/personality).

Put everything down you hate, no matter how small (buses, smog, congestion, etc - maybe it will turn out that city life sucks or rural life sucks).

After a while, things will start getting clear in your mind.

Now make another list of some of the things you like. Anything at all, for example... music, making love, watching TV, certain people, certain activities, etc..

The list making is a process, so don't expect that it will be done in a day or two. Give yourself a little time to develope and write this list.

After a week or two (because you are going to keep getting new ideas), you will start to get a very strong sense of yourself.

At this time, you will have a strong sense of what you like and dislike - a strong sense as to who you are.

Avoid the things you dislike - like the plague. Focus on things you do like. Keep working on making changes on your life - a little at a time, so that you can eventually be surrounded by the many things you like.

At some future point, you might even accept a couple of things you dislike (for balance or out of necessity) - but that's for later.

Good luck.

Your happiness with your life will almost always be in direct proportion to how much you feel you are in control of what happens to you. If you are feeling desperate, no doubt you are in a position right now where you are perhaps being pushed around by either other people or events.

Try doing something that is a little difficult, and feel all the pride you can when you accomplish it, then look for something a little harder to tackle.

If you like to read, try Anthony Robbins. He's easy to read, and really inspiring.

Once you feel that life is starting to get banal and you hate life that much is because you are obviously and definitely missing something incredibly important and crucial in your life. Somewhere behind your back you unconsciously missed something that you probably never received all your life and you unknowingly long for having it.

I think you need to find out what's the core of your missing part in yourself. Analyze and try to take a trip down memory lane to your past times to figure it out.
Life certainly is always a long long journey for everyone, and when someone hates life this much means he lacks of something that tremendously substantial and weighty that makes him or her unhappy in so many way, shape and form. From that unhappiness that person's soul becomes so cold and dark. he starts to despise everything in this life cuz he views life from his dark soul eyes. From this point on, he hates the life and he sees life as a banal one. Cuz he is just not able to see life from a bright soul eyes. Since he has an icy soul just simply because he missed something really grave and primary inside him.

Life isn't always going to be bad. Not knowing the circumstances around your life at this moment, I can't tell you where to look for the good things.
I lived my life for a long time with the belief that life was always going to "suck".
A lot depends on attitude, but sometimes, bad things do happen to good people. Just remember that life is in a constant state of change, so it won't always be like it is now.

The greatest gift God gave was life. Appreciate it!

IF there was no rain we would never appreciate a sunny day.
