for example,do you think that there is a difference between an American audience and a European audience and how they perceive and receive dance ?

I do think there is a difference in how dance is viewed. I think there are different levels of sophistication as well.

Most American audiences don't go enough to understand what is being presented, yet they sit there as if they were in church.

Some theaters in Europe have guys who go up and down the aisles selling refreshments during the shows. That should illustrate at least one difference!
