You do not need to be a citizen. You need to get an application to the pageant you want to do. Apply and wait for acceptance once you do and if you do they send you things and you just follow that. Go on the website of the pageant that you want to do. They have rules such as if you have to send in a picture, resume, etc. Some also require you to go to an orientation first. All pageants are different. Also, research the pageant very well because some are scams.

You can email me and I can help you with the specific pageant you want to do.

Good luck and remember to smile.

You would need to become a full citizen to be able to compete. Basically, start on the local level. Every state has city level beauty pageants every year, then those winners go on to compete against other city winners for the state pageant, then each of the state winners go on to compete in the Miss America or Miss USA pageants, and those winners can go on to compete in Miss World and Miss Universe pageants. I live in a small town and we have a city-level pageant here to start people off. A lot of places have high school pageants that a young lady can compete in, too.
