Under standard conditions, the density of air is 1.293 kg/m3 and that of helium is 0.178 kg/m3. A spherical helium balloon lifts a basket plus cargo of mass 278.0 kg. What must be the minimum diameter of the spherical balloon?

For equilibrium...density1 = density2
we're assuming infinite density for the cargo.
1.293 - 0.178 = 1.115
278 / 1.115 = 249.33 m^3
V = 4/3 π r^3
r = cube root (3V/4π) = 3.9 m
