I worked at a chain pet store for almost 6 years, and having seen the other stores in other cities, your work experience will depend on your manager and your co-workers and how well everyone works as a team. If your manager knows how to delegate well and keep his workers happy and enthusiastic, then it can be alot of fun, and very satisfactory. Your confidence and communication skills will soar after awhile, dealing with customers. It could be a great job for a teenager, but unfortunately, it doesn't pay well to those with true experience.

I work at PetsMart Canada, and I make $8.15 an hour. It's a fun job! Good luck!

I went into a Petsmart store once and it was very loud.(A lot of dogs barking at everything mostly) I asked the cashier if she can hear at the end of the day and she told me that she usually leaves work with a headache.
