With their 24-21 triumph over the host Buffalo Bills Sunday, the Chargers extended their winning streak to six. LaDainian Tomlinson led the way with 178 yards rushing and two touchdowns, giving him 26 for the year, two short of matching the single-season record set by Seattle's Shaun Alexander last year. It was Tomlinson's sixth straight 100-yard game and seventh of the season and he joined Eric Dickerson as the second NFL player to reach 1,200 yards rushing in each of his first six NFL seasons. The Bills were limited to 231 yards and only had one drive in which they produced three first downs. Shawne Merriman, in his first game back from a four-game steroid suspension, finished with six tackles and two sacks, while the defense forced three turnovers in the first half and four overall. i think they are a good team all in all

No, I didn't. The difference was the rushing. Compare Buffalo's rushing yards to Tomlinson's, and you have the story of the game. Super Bowl? Maybe...but I just have this feeling that some one's going to come up with a way to keep Tomlinson in check, and Rivers is going to crumble under the full offensive burden due to being unaccustomed to shouldering it.

That said, McGahee ought to watch tape on how Tomlinson runs, some of LT's greatness might rub off on him and he might end up above average....but he's the best(according to him), so I'm sure he doesn't feel the need to do so...

It was another win by my Chargers. Unfortunately they love to try and give games away at the end. But how about LT doing it again. Next stop, Denver at home. Gonna be a good one. Best Answer..
