ok so we are doing a secret santa at school and i got a girl i barely know, what should i get her?
shes 14 and a gangster
the gift has to be $5-$15

First, what does this matter if she's a "gangster?" She's a female, aren't you a female? What kind of gift would you like?
I suspect your school is doing this to break down barriers. It's an opportunity to think about a person you might not know. Why don't you try to talk to her a bit? Get to know her and you might get some insight about what to give her. Or you could talk to some of her friends to find out what she's like. But I think talking to her, you'd learn the most. Think about how cool it would be if she opens a gift that indicates your observance of who she is. This is a great opportunity, don't just buy a gift certificate, spend some time learning about this young woman.

If it's REALLY secret, I'd get her some pamphlets on the dangers of being in a gang and throw in some more info on gunshot wounds, statistics of survival for 14-year-old female gang members and a card saying "I'll pray for you" and asking who she wants to leave her stuff to when she gets iced.
P.S. I'm NOT being sarcastic! I was a teacher in an inner-city school for awhile and I have no romantic illusions about ANYBODY being in a gang, much less a 14-year-old. The guys use them and throw them out. She's probably already having sex and might be infected w/any number of STDs. If you care for this girl at all, follow the advice of the person who said "talk to her".
Just watch your back, because gangs do NOT like people taking their members away!
