I used Dreft. It works great. If you can't find Dreft, look for a detergent free of dyes and perfumes, all natural detergent, to start. Later as your baby gets older you can start introducing a different detergent, like the one you use for your own clothes, however just watch for any skin irritation and if you notice any irritation remove the clothes immediately and rewash them in Dreft or another hypoallergenic laundry detergent. Hope this helps some.

Dreft is suppose to be the best thing but I just used the regular laundry soap that I use for my clothes and we have had no problems. You should wash one of your baby's items with you clothes to make sure that there are no allergic reactions and then feel free to use your normal detergent.

One that isn't scented or colored with dyes. They market Dreft for infants but we never used it for any of our 3 girls, we just bought large bottles of All free and clear so that everyone could use the same detergent.

I always used Dreft when my children were little... it doesn't have dyes or fragrances that can irritate sensitive skin, nor is it made with particles of glass, like Tide and others are. It works well on stains, and the clothes come out very soft.

Dreft or Ivory Snow. Also, the detergents that are fragrance-free and dye-free can be used.
