What other country was going through its own revolution in the early years of the american nation?

see what happened was i left my textbook at school and i have looked all over the internet for a suitable answer can some one help??????????????????????????

I think like the French Revolution was going down because..

I know as a fact the Spanish Revolution in Spain was occuring during the late 1700's - early 1800's.
