Yes my friends.... the question everyone is thinking about...
And that question is.... who's running for president in 08? Post who you think will run for each party( assuming they get past the Primary election.) For the republicans, I'm going to go with John Mcaine. He seems like the sort of not so far right conservative our country needs. For the democrats, I think I'm going to with Barack Obama. I think that Hillary, who's the big demmy pick, is just radical left, and the American people are just going to get sick of her. So... what do YOU think?

I think McCain for the Republicans and Al Gore for the Deomcrats.
Obama is simply not experienced enough (give him a few more years) and just so you know Clinton is NOT liberal. You should take a look at her history in the Senate and not just rely on talking points. Clinton has been drawing the ire of true liberals and there have even been conservatives saying Clinton is not liberal.

For the Democrats, I think Hillary will end up with the nomination. I do not think democrats can resist the notion of bill for 4 more years.
Since the Southern Republicans have been knocked out, I have no idea who will emerge for the Republicans. Maybe Guliani.
McCain is too tainted. Lieberman may run as in Independent.
Who will win? No idea. I'm still sulking about Frist's decision not to run.

An unknown to us Republican who is now a senator or congressman from a state and an unknown to us Democrat who is from a blue state.
For third parties: comprised of people off the street and Nader again.
Who knows, Buchanon might take a shot for independent.
Why is everyone just naming off people who have already run? That's not going to happen.
And I think Hillary is too big a risk right now for Dems,
could be wrong though.

I think McCain has agered too many in the GOP base. Giulliani is to liberal on social issues to win the nomination. I don't know who is likely to come out on top. I'd like to see Brownback, but he is a real darkhorse.
I think you are right about Obama.

If John McCain can prove his health, I think he's well-set. Hilary Clinton will take care of Obama. I don't agree with her, but she has substance, at least. Obama has yet to prove anything.
