You can wear them in the pool. You can wear them at night, but it is recommended that they be replaced every 8 hours.

Sometimes I wear a tampon at night with a pad if my period is very heavy but after wearing one all day, I may not. I always wear on in the pool and change it after I get out because I bleed heavily usually.

unless you sleep between 6 and 8 hours a night, no you shoudl definatley not wear tampons at night (well even if you do you shouldn't). i would recommend wearing tampons in the pool, as a pad would not do much for you.

Yes to both. You'll make a mess in the pool and mess up your suit, plus everyone will see it.

Be sure to change your tampon before going to bed, then change it again when you get up (depending on your flow - between 6 and 8 hours). You need to change it at least every 8 hours. If it's not very saturated, you need to change to a lesser absorbancy tampon.

Yes and yes. They're really OK overnight...it's keeping them in for long periods that can cause bacterial infections. And they're perfect for swimming!
